## New

One tap in Settings removes your account with everything attached to it: your messages, contributions, profile data, photos and uploads — even push notification tokens. No emails, no support tickets — it just works, and it's permanent.

WorldViews runs on conversations about opinions and beliefs, which is why we ask for your explicit consent (in line with GDPR). If you change your mind, you can withdraw it in Settings at any time — your account and content are removed the same way.

When someone deletes their account, their conversation partners see a short notice in the chat. Ended conversations become read-only, so your side of the story stays with you.

A quick security sign-in check now happens anything else, and after deletion you get a clear confirmation and are signed out properly.

Fixed the issue where text on debate topic cards could overflow, ensuring all content is now displayed clearly.

We've corrected a bug that caused the swipeable stack to be misaligned on English devices. The stack now displays correctly in the center.

WorldViews App (Android, iOS & Web) Release notes from October 7, 2024 Update.

We’ve made significant updates to the app, with exciting new features and improvements across the "👥 Join" and "✏️ Create" tabs in the "🆕 New" section.

2️⃣-: Joining a debate now involves two steps for a smoother, more intuitive experience. After selecting a topic (swipe right), you’ll see a bottom sheet with the chosen topic and be prompted to select your opinion separately. This gives users a chance to confirm their choices before committing, preventing unwanted selections while maintaining the fun of the swiping flow.

🌐: The topics displayed now match the language of your app settings. This update introduces English language topics for the first time, making WorldViews more accessible for English-speaking users, with more topics to come soon.

📂 We’ve introduced content categories as our first filtering system. You can now choose from four categories, plus a special "✒️ Editorial" category featuring topics curated by the WorldViews editorial team. This allows users to filter and explore specific types of debate topics.

🖌️ The topic cards in the "👥 Join" section have been refined to ensure they are visually appealing and easy to read, with helpful hints about what happens when you swipe in each direction.

🔄 The "✏️ Create" tab has been revamped for better clarity and user-friendliness. Users now have two options:

📝 Create a discussion topic using your own words.

🤖 Use our new AI-powered generator to create a discussion topic. The generator includes:

The AI will generate a discussion topic based on these inputs, and you’ll see a bottom sheet with the suggested topic for review.

🔧 Minor UI enhancements have been made to the "🛠️ Prepare" section. While still in development, this section will eventually allow users to collect arguments, track progress, and prepare effectively.

🚧 The "🎯 Mission" part and human coaches in the "📈 Growth" section remain under construction, but AI coaching and test debates are fully operational.

🤝 The matching system is still under development, and users can currently choose test debate partners from all available users.

🖌️ The topic swiping interface has been revamped. You can now choose a debate format (upper right corner of topic cards) and see a placeholder for topic information. The swipe left button now appears as a red cross.

🗣 Starting or reviewing test debates is as easy as ever with a refreshed interface.

💬 : Enjoy better UI and color enhancements, making the opposing sides more distinct and tools easier to use.
